Helping Hands in Africa
Ministry Friends Bill of Rights
Helping Hands in Africa operates under the principle that you have a “Ministry Friend Bill of Rights” when it comes to knowing what your gifts are helping to accomplish through Helping Hands in Africa.
As a ministry friend, who enthusiastically endorses the work and ministry of Helping Hands in Africa (HHIA), you have the right:
- To know that HHIA will never sell, rent, or make available your name for non- HHIA purposes or information related to your gifts.
- To know how HHIA spends funds available to us and to be made aware of the programs your gifts help fund.
- To know that HHIA is in compliance with federal, state, and municipal laws.
- To restrict or designate your gift to a specific project.
- To receive a quick response to your inquiries about HHIA finances and programs.
- To visit our ministry offices and meet with us personally.
- To expect that HHIA will never use high-pressure tactics to solicit your support.
- To know that HHIA is efficient, organized, and well-managed.
- To know that HHIA has an involved and responsible board of directors that takes its oversight duties very seriously.
-
To know that our appeals for funds are truthful and accurate to the very best of our knowledge.
